My wife and I wanted to get away for a quiet couple of days. We stayed in the rose room and it was very comfortable with a very nice sitting room and balcony. Shower is small but didn't bother us. Elaine is a great host...続きを読む
This is a beautiful Victorian house in a very walkable neighborhood. My husband & I stayed in the carriage house which is decorated differently, but very nice. It is spacious, comfortable, & private. We loved it!!! The breakfast food was delicious & the grounds were...続きを読む
My husband, 17-year-old daughter and I spent two nights at the Habberstad B&B. The hosts couldn't be more gracious, and home and gardens are spectacular. We stayed in the Amish Suite which is spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished with games, movies, and a Keurig with...続きを読む
Habberstad House is a well-maintained, picturesque B&B both inside and out. The home has lots of comfortable chairs throughout - in the parlors, on the porch and in the numerous sitting areas scattered throughout the yard. While each bedroom has its own unique charm, our...続きを読む

Thanks so much! Mark and I enjoyed having your group stay with us...We hope to see you again!
Yes, the Amish Suite on our third floor has two double beds. It also has a sitting area with a TV and a small round table and four chairs which works well for playing card and board games.
Thanks for asking!
I have 2 questions:
1) We are planning to stay in Lanesboro the first week of September which includes a bile trip down the Root River. How far and what are the directions to the bike trail?
2) My son would like to join my wife and I on the bike trip. He could bring a sleeping bag. Could he stay with us; say in the Rose Room?

The bike trail goes right through the middle of town, with several places to rent bikes and helmets etc. if you haven't brought your own. This is circa 1 mile from Habberstad house… we drove our car into town then, and parked near the bike rental. Easy to do.
If you have your own bike, it's an easy ride… basically pretty flat, no major hills, from Habberstad house to where you can pick up the trail. (FYI, going east not too many miles on the bike trail you get to a wonderful little town that has a great place that makes and sells pies…. check it out. A great destination to go to… eat, then turn back to home for a nice afternoons or mornings rides.
RE: the sleeping bag on the floor? Physically it would probably fit, but you'd best check with the owners.
