I am hoping to stay at this location while I visit for a Yankees game but have a few questions. I read that the hotel offers a free shuttle service to Penn Station. I was hoping to visit a few sights in New York City during my stay and was wondering if this is how I would get there? I'm assuming Penn Station is in New Jersey and then you take a train or bus from there to the city? I was thinking of Times Square. If so does anyone know the rough cost to do this? Secondly, is the neighbourhood the hotel located in a safe one? I am concerned as I would be coming back to the hotel late and wlas wondering if shuttle runs late?

Yes, this hotel offers a shuttle from the airport to their hotel and also from their hotel to Penn Station Newark. From there you will take the train over to NYC. The round trip train ticket is about $10 per adult. Children over 6 I think, are $5.75 round trip. Children under that are free. The hotel shuttle runs till 11pm so you just have to make sure you are back from the city before then. I think it starts at 6 or or 7 am but I can't remember for sure. The hotel is located in a good area as far as I could tell but the shuttle literally picks up and drops you off right at the front door. The scaryiest part is at Penn Station that can be a little sketchy at night, but they do have you wait inside the Hilton Hotel lobby across the street not at Penn Station. Have fun, we had a great time and the hotel was great!
I'd like to know if there are enough parking spaces for the hotel size, and if there is another way to park the car if the hotel's parking is full.

How far is this Hampton from the Cape Liberty cruise port?
