It is a lovely little home stay at a perfect location. The owner is super nice, an architect who created this creative boutique house. There are six rooms available so you might be quick in booking if you want to stay there.
This is a fabulous place to stay. The owner, Kitchai, was so helpful and such an interesting guy to talk to. He studied architecture in the UK for 6 years and was very kind in suggesting that we stopped at the bamboo forest market on our way to Thale Noi which was fantastic. We would never have known about it otherwise. The rooms at Old Times are brilliantly quirky. Each room has a theme, ours was the musicians of Bremen based on a Grimms Brothers fairy tale. We loved it here and would thoroughly recommend staying. I hope Kitchai and his family haven't been affected by the worst tropical storm in 30 years to hit this area in the past few days.

Location: ***** easily accessible by private car or taxi and public transport, 500 m. walking distance from the heart of the city, Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple.
Universal design: *** the lobby and most of the rooms are not designed for the wheelchair person with many steps and thresholds except the little room no.2 named 'The Lion and the Mouse'. This room has a disabled toilet and bathroom with handrails, wheelchair accessible table and bed.
Cleanness: **** the place is modified from the old house, the kitchen is in the front and exposed to everyone, standard cleanness in all areas with good maintenance, but the rough design and detailed decoration with small things may annoy the minimalist lover.
Safety: *** easily accessible from public and homestay environment with real-life surrounding neighborhood may compromise your safety feeling, but the room is quite safe and comfortable.
Food: **** included breakfast can be chosen and pre-ordered with a listed menu, you can also cook yourself if you wish.
Privacy: *** again, easily accessible from public and homestay environment with real-life surrounding neighborhood may compromise your privacy feeling, but able to maintain guest’s privacy inside the room.
Internet: ***** fast and strong signal free wifi in the room and lobby.
Staffs: ***** friendly staff and a very caring owner.
