I'm having trouble deciding between Freedomland and Mango Bay. I know Freedomland is a much more unique experience, but I'm concerned the accomodations arent as nice, and it sounds like there are some real negatives (further from the beach, less flexibility about coming and going, etc.).
Has anyone stayed at both/either and would you be willing to help direct me?

There are some bars & restaurants within about 10-15 min walking distance but there's not a lot going on there, especially during the day. If you want to hang out in bars during the day you're better off going to Duong Dong... 続きを読む
There are some bars & restaurants within about 10-15 min walking distance but there's not a lot going on there, especially during the day. If you want to hang out in bars during the day you're better off going to Duong Dong or further south where the backpackers are.
So I've been to Vietnam before. Would like to stay in Phu Quoc for about 5days. This time, before heading north for 3 weeks. Would that be to long?. Is Freedomland suitable for a solo traveller?
