Aruthusa was the First of two safaris we booked while in SA; fabulous accomodations overlooking a large water hole where a variety of animals gathered. The game driver Sean and his tracker Rifis were very knowledgeable making for great and exciting game viewing. Although a...続きを読む

How long is the walk from private luxury room to lodge? Do you have someone that accompany us?

We stayed in the furthest most lodge from the main area, and it was a walk of around five minutes to be precise, faster with a ranger who has a torch at night! There is always someone to accompany you at night, lodge rules. But, during the day it is safe and light enough to walk unaccompanied. This does make it sound dangerous at night, but it is just a precaution! The animals are far more scared of us than we are of them.
Can someone tell me how long is the max you'd stay here in order to get the full experience of sabi sabi?
What room/suite would you recommend?
Airlines to fly with? I'm coming from Ireland.
Thanks in advance,

Would you recommend staying in rooms overlooking waterhole or the "bush" room? thank you!

With the bush rooms you need to be escorted at all times. We had a water facing room and it was fabulous.
