A good lodge in a unique part of Madikwe, with a fantastic watering hole visible from each of the rooms that attracts a wide variety of game. The lodge was quiet while we were there so we had great personal service and attention.
Lovely lodge, rustic and homely, but still top quality service and amenities. Field guides/Rangers were great, we had Ernie and he was brilliant. Saw lots of game close up, Madikwe is not crowded and we saw some amazing sites (eg very young Lion, Jackal and...続きを読む
The entire experience was just a cut above other game lodges I have experienced. From our arrival by car, the difference was evident. The guard at the Madikwe entrance was friendly, helpful and welcoming and told us the road to follow in the reserve to...続きを読む

My wife and I will be staying at Tau Lodge from Thursday till Tuesday and are looking forward to an amazing experience. I would like to know how cold it is in the mornings and evenings on the game driver "Beanie cold" or just a normal jacket.
Is the best way via the N4 Rustenburg or Magalies/Koster from Jhb.

Good day, at the moment it is not that cold yet, so a jacket will be enough it is only in May - July that you would need warmer clothes. We also provide blankets on the landrovers should you still need some extra warmth... 続きを読む
Good day, at the moment it is not that cold yet, so a jacket will be enough it is only in May - July that you would need warmer clothes. We also provide blankets on the landrovers should you still need some extra warmth. Both routes can be taken, personally I prefer the N4 to Rustenburg more, but it also depends which side on Johannesburg you would be traveling from. We wish you an amazing stay!
