It's a shame that we couldn't reach your expectations but you must know that some restaurants are going through a maintenance job and that is why they are temporarily closed, we are improving them to keep offering you and all of our guests always the best quality. I am wondering what the dress code is for the Grand Oasis Tulum? Also what is the weather temp in Feb plz
First, I would like to echo the previous responders; do yourself a big favor and look somewhere else. Second, let me tell you why. When I was booking, I bought into this resort’s embellishments. On their site, they marketed themselves as a five star resort. When I arrived, I was shocked at the failing conditions of this so called resort. The front desk service was horrible and probably felonious. After an hour of waiting, at about 11pm, in an empty lobby, I was given a room not suitable for human consumption. I walked down a dark hallway guided only by the light of my cell phone. The walls in the room had visible mold running down. The electric socket for the non working table lamps was actually protruding from the wall. The ceiling fan, also not working. The sliding balcony door would not lock. There was inexplainable rust in the bathroom. i went to complain tot he front desk and was told that they had nothing else available. I returned to my room, took photos and then went back to the lobby. By now it’s about 1am. Low and behold, they found a room for me. The second room, was no better than the first. The room was flat out dirty. I was too exhausted to do anything about it . Among other things on the floor was a rusty curtain pin. The next day I went back to the front desk. Same song and dance; no rooms available. I went back to the room, documented the failures with photos, and again the front desk magically found a room for me. Third room had NO WINDOW. Imagine being in a beach resort with no window in your room. It doesn’t end there. The toilet seat was broken, the shower drain was overflowing. The room had an obnoxious sewage stench to it that was just unbearable. I made an appointment to meet with the general manager for the following day, because he was not on the premises at the time. We were supposed to meet at 9am. After waiting for an hour, I inquired about our previously scheduled meeting. I was told that the general manager was too busy to meet with me. I was offered to be moved to a sister resort for an additional $800. I opted to not take the option, particularly since I was not provided any information about it. Instead, I shortened my trip, bought a ticket at the earliest flight; and in the process lost a substantial amount of money. Not only will I never return to this fraudulently managed property, I will continually encourage others to not go there. You will be wasting your time, money, and energy.

How much is it to upgrade to Sianka'an? How do you upgrade? I have emailed the hotel but they have not responded.
Michelle, the representative’s response raises more questions than it answers. What does “around” mean. Don’t they know exactly how much it is? What does the upgrade include? I bet you still have to pay for WiFi and for a safe. I had the worst experience ever at this so called resort. When I inquired about why is the WiFi not working. The response was, “What do you expect? You are in the jungle.” Really?! I expect it to work, particularly since I paid for it. I encourage you to look elsewhere. I also invite this clown, Gerardo Bordoli, to contact me. I am sure I can educate him on customer experience. By the way, I made an appointment to talk with him while I was there. I waited over an hour for the scheduled meeting. Guess what. He didn’t show up. Not only that, after I inquired about our meeting, I was told he was too busy to meet with me. I wonder if they would have let me sit there all day if I didn’t ask. I have a background in the hospitality industry.

Is the wifi and safe free with the grand ocean room upgrade?
