We stayed 3 nights June 2021. We had two rooms, room 1 and room 10. The hotel is very clean and all staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You communicate with them via WhatsApp, so make sure you have that app. We purchased breakfast a couple times (thank you Karla, very delicious). Also, Jose at night was very helpful when we needed some ice at night. The girls in the front, were equally as helpful (Ruzena, Mari, Avi). They gave recommendations, ordered taxi and cleared up any doubt we had. The location is really perfect - 2 blocks from the church that has a show at 9:00 (Tue and Thursday) and two blocks from the center park. We drove and appreciated the gated parking lot behind the hotel. Thank you!! We would definitely return here when in Valladolid again.
Wanted to stay in Valladolid to go to Chichen Itza and also explore this small city. Found this hotel on Google maps and booked directly through their Whatsapp (+52 985 126 8509, also available on their website). They didn’t ask me for credit card or anything, it was a simple confirmed message. The rates are about $50 USD per night for a double-bed room. The parking garage is just right behind the hotel (attached to the property) so you will have to loop around to get there. After exploring parts of Valladolid, I very much prefer the location of Saastah! The street is clean, quiet, and has quite a few boutique shops and restaurants! It’s within 10-min walking distance to the main plaza. I felt very safe here compared to let’s say the Candaleria area. There are some hotels directly facing the plaza as well but I find the streets there to be too crowded to my liking. We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2020. At check in, they also didn’t ask for my details and just sent us straight to the room. Very trusting of them. The room was clean. Bed size was full size, sheets are ok (you get what you pay for). The shower is limited to 2-7 minutes.... so this is something you should be aware of. We asked the front desk about it and the handyman did something to extend the time to maybe the full 7 mins. Overall, I’d recommend staying here if you’re low maintenance! …
