Quite and peaceful location to camp at and enjoy the night while traveling to local attractions during the day and returning to a camp fire for the evening. The folks running the resort are very friendly and helpful in recommendations of local sites.
We were super disappointed in the lake. You definitely can't swim in there. It's gross. There are goose dropping all over around the lake and dock. Oh and there were some used joints on the dock. Gross. The employees were great, bathrooms are nice and...続きを読む

Yes, Lake Selmac Resort is on Lake Shore Drive. The other part of the Lake is owned & operated by the County.
Sorry to hear about your experience, but reviews like yours can hurt innocent people/businesses. We visit the lake on a regular basis and enjoy every trip. It's very sad to me that you can post something so accusatory and attacking, on the Lake Selmac Resort site and, if you're not aware.....you didn't stay @ the Resort. Site #41 is part of the Josephine County Campground. The Resort itself does not have day use areas. They are solely responsible for the store and the campground directly across the parking lot to the store. The owners of the Resort/store, and the volunteers that manage the Josephine County Campground, all work hard & do the best that they can to make everyone's experience an enjoyable one. If you would have brought it to their attention, when it was taking place, I'm almost positive that it would have been dealt with immediately.
