Overall an excellent experience. Peaceful, friendly and well trained staff, well equipped and clean accommodation, restaurant provides excellent quality and variety of food and drinks. A must do experience.
The staff were very friendly and this made the visit worthwhile. The cave suits are more artificial than I expected. Beware of full moon as this prevents any realistic stargazing.

We visited Kagga Kamma Nature reserve for a 1 night breakaway from Cape Town. It was a 3 hour drive there via Ceres - very scenic. The accommodation (we stayed in the caves) were good with clean linen and nice views. It is very quiet....続きを読む
We had an amazing time in this wonderful area. Huts could use some renovation (bath) and outdoor dinning area could use new chairs and tables but with these views, the friendly staff and the interessting tours there is nothing to complain about

Hi. Sorry for not replying earlier :(.On our trip there we have passed winelands, orchards and beautiful little towns and breathtaking mountains. There is little opportunity to shop as all the towns are small and don't have much to offer in the way of retail therapy.
There is a small shop at Kagga Kamma which sells the odd tee-shirt or bracelet but nothing else. It's not a trip you take for shopping, more for sightseeing :)
Do the beachfront units have coffee making equipment eg a plunger? Do you have bicycles to hire from the resort or do we need to organise that in town? How do we go about organising tickets to the 7s next week. Thanks
