We weren't sure what to expect from our first trip to Manitoulin, but choosing Timberlane was a great start. It is rustic, but we were looking to get away for a few days and it certainly fit the bill.

After a three day stay at Timberlane Rustic Lodges to attend an on-site wedding, my husband, kids and I cannot wait to plan our trip back next summer. Mark and Laura go above and beyond for their guests in every aspect. Their facilities, activities and...続きを読む
We had our wedding reception in the hall and rented the entire place for our guests and were very impressed by Mark, Laura (the owners) and their staff! They were accommodating, hard-working and very helpful! They made our weekend much less stressful.

It is secluded so you don't hear traffic noise and on a clear night the sky is incredible.

Just returned from a week at Timberlane...it was perfect. Rustic yes, but quaint and exactly what I was looking for. The owner, Mark Varey has a unique gift for being there when you need him and providing optimum service. I can't wait to go back
I am interested in knowing how accessible are your lodges and facilities for someone who uses a motorized wheelchair? I am also wondering about service animals and do you allow them?
Do the rooms have refrigerators?
Do you accept CAA?
Thanks and look forward to hearing back from you.

We have one lodge that is motorized wheelchair accessible. It is the former owners residence who was himself in a wheelchair and had it renovated including a wheel in shower and widened doorways. It is a two bedroom situated up high on the water with a beautiful view and has a full kitchen, including a fridge with built in ice maker, Jacuzzi tub and air conditioning. We currently allow pets, so service dogs would, of course, be welcome. We do not currently use CAA, sorry. Please give us a call and Mark will be happy to answer any other questions that you have.
