Very unique place. We heard lions roaring from late evening into early morning!! We were on the very end, closest to the zoo, ground level room. Cool, except it did wake us up the first night we were there. The room was as pictured, but...続きを読む
Said the night of our wedding... room was gorgeous, Jacuzzi and fire place were nice touches, but that's about it. Girl checking us in was very anti social and not pleasant at all. She seemed more angry she had to leave the bar next door...続きを読む
Great place to stay. Big jacuzzi and comfortable bed. Skii activities near and fun. Groceries and beer and wine also close to the place. We only had a problem with the fireplace which stopped working. Otherwise nice stay.続きを読む
We stayed here one evening for my wife's birthday. We did hear some lion's roar as we were checking in, but nothing during the evening. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint was that you could hear the people walking around on the...続きを読む
Rustic decor a nice change from a traditional hotel room. Check in was poor as the girl wasn't very welcoming or informative about the amenities of the lodge or surrounding areas even when asked. Stayed in a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, enjoyed...続きを読む

Hi Joseph- there are several restaurants in the vicinity from which to choose. As John T from Wheaton, IL already mentioned, the Out of the Fire Cafe is superb! It's a up-scaled family owned restaurant that would please your palate in every way. It's a BYOB establishment and a very stylish atmosphere. There are a couple of family restaurants on Rt. 31. One is Brady's which is east past the turnpike entrance a couple of miles. And, the other is west on Rt. 31 past Hidden Valley called Oakhurst Tea Room. Also, if you take Rt. 711 North over the turnpike, right on the other side is what was for decades known as Tall Cedars and was recently purchased by new owners who have spruced it up a bit and renamed it Springer's Cove. There's a restaurant and bar there. If you go a bit further on Rt. 711 North to Stahlstown, you will find a wonderful place called the Main Street Wine Bar where they offer a fabulous wine menu and all kinds of other spirits as well as delicious food! That is on Rt. 130 East just a block to the right of Rt. 711. Also, if you go the other way on Rt. 130 West, you can follow signs to the Foggy Mountain Lodge that has a full menu of lots of wonderful choices with a full service bar. Sarnelli's is right down the street from Log Cabin Lodge and Suites where you can get some deli food and necessities and you can visit Hidden Valley and Seven Springs as well to see what might interest you there with the restaurants they offer. There's a new market near the entrance of Seven Springs too. So, there's quite a bit around our Lodge that should suit your fancy!!
