We stayed for 2 nights in the Desert Diva and it was perfection! Before you even get to the property, you are sent an abundance of information that lets you know EVERYTHING you need to know about your stay, which is hugely helpful. The property is remote and beautiful - it does take over an hour to get into Big Bend National Park, but that's to be expected with any stay outside of the park boundaries. The Diva was cute, quirky and cozy - and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having a fire in the firepit, cooking on the charcoal grill, and cuddling the kittens as we enjoyed the incredible night sky. IThe Diva gives you the opportunity to enjoy this time outside without having to bring all your own camping equipment, which is especially nice if you've travelled to Texas by plane. We stayed in the Spinning Cuddle Bug and were so impressed. The attention to detail on this property and our campsite was incredible. The Cuddle Bug came with mattress pads, a comforter and a solar-powered outlet. The nearby port-a-potty was clean and always had toilet paper and smelled good. The host Ronda also gave very specific and helpful directions and several great recommendations for things to do in the area. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!
We stayed two nights in the Cozy Cactus. The location is remote, but Ronda gives great detailed directions. Check in/out was simple. The portajohns were extremely clean. If you read the listing in advance, you will be well-prepared for your stay. The night sky is amazing and the cats are friendly. Highly recommended for a camping adventure! It’s about one hour to the west entrance to Big Bend
We stayed for several nights in Tin Valley and could not have been more pleased! We spent our first night in the Tipi. The Tipi was a unique experience and a fantastic way for us Wisconsinites to kick off our West Texas trip! The next few nights we stayed in the Pancho Villa. Everything is unique and thought out to the last detail! Since we were switching units, we were able to leave a couple things out at the unit while we hiked for the day and the Rhonda was wonderful to even put our beer in the fridge so it was cold upon our return! I cannot recommend staying here enough!
We stayed in a retro airstream caravan and it was fantastic. The decor was really cool and the caravan was really comfortable to stay in. The location was lovely and remote, very peaceful and tranquil. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
