This hotel is perfect for everyone - whether you are travelling with family, friends or solo, you will love it. It's located very close to the old city centre and if you are OK with walking, you don't really need public transport. You have to go to Magma restaurant on the third floor - it has amazing views of the city and the food is impeccable. I picked this hotel as it has a swimming pool and a spa with wellness treatments, both highly recommended. I stayed there for my birthday and to be honest it was like home away from home. Hotel staff - especially Patricia, Daniel and Rita were really the best, looking after me and making sure I had a fantastic time.
Just returned from a fantastic 3 night weekend stay with 12 friends. Cannot fault anything...it's a beautiful new Hotel which is very tastefully decorated throughout. There's so much space everywhere..... including our room. We had a balcony with huge windows ( with a bit of a view of the city) a very large bed and bathroom with a fabulous shower....fluffy bathrobes included and tea/coffee making with a fridge and complimentary bottled water( replaced daily). The room was a perfect temperature and quiet...we slept very well. Breakfast was wonderful...huge selection of both hot and cold, sweet and savoury choices plus made to order dishes which was, for me, a personalised omelette...very very tasty. There's a multitude of seating/ bar areas, including the upstairs bar with wonderful views of the River and City. The location was perfect...just a short bus ride, cable car, river taxi or pleasant 10 minute walk to the main tourist areas...but plenty to do right outside the hotel including a huge choice of Port tasting experience's. Finally...the icing on the cake was the wonderful attentive service from every member of staff...not easy looking after 12 of us...but all of us had a personal service....would highly recommend this Hotel... thank you to Monica and her team....…
I was impressed. Hilton Gaia has almost everything top notch. Beautiful interiors, spacious rooms, stunning spa with huge pool and great sauna, steam facility. Also massages are good, plus you get extra discounts as a diamond members. Also location of the hotel is good. It is nearby a cable car, which can take you right next to the steel bridge, very close to Porto city centre. The only thing I did not like was the approach of the checkin staff. When I asked for double upgrade based on my diamond membership, they were willing to give me only one. Their reaction on not giving me junior suite was, that non of them were prepared for clients. It was like 7PM. Which is one of the most rediculous excuses I have ever heard.

Óptimas instalações para os hóspedes , quer no que diz respeito ao quarto propriamente dito , quer nas áreas sociais e de utilização comum. Serviço rápido e eficiente no pequeno almoço, diversidade de alternativas e ambiente muito calmo e agradável. Bom acesso ao parque privativo , sem limitações de espaço para estacionar . Colaboradores da recepção simpáticos e eficientes.
