Does any one know honestly if there is a great difference in Partial Ocean View and Ocean View? also is there lanai attached to the room to enjoy coffee in the mornings? Can you have toaster in the room if you wanted?

Aloha. The views from the ocean view categories (Partial Ocean, Ocean View and Deluxe Ocean View) can vary based upon the room location in the building. The description of the views from each category are as follows:
Partial Ocean View Rooms are located on the 3rd through 5th floors of the main Tower. Rooms facing north or south, offer limited views of the ocean and surrounding areas from the guestroom lanai.
Ocean View Rooms. North facing rooms on the 3rd through 12th floors of the main Tower or south facing rooms located on the 6th thru 12th floors of the main tower. South facing rooms offer views of the West Maui Mountains, Kaanapali Resort area and ocean from the guestroom lanai. North facing rooms offer views of the surrounding resort area and the ocean from the guestroom lanai.
Deluxe Ocean View Rooms are north facing rooms on the 8th through 12th floors of the main Tower offer views of the surrounding resort area, the Island of Molokai and the ocean from inside the guestroom.
If unsure which you would like, you can book the Partial Ocean View and then request to see a different view type upon arrival and pay a small fee to upgrade to that type, as long as availability permits.
