Went for the weekend with my husband. Place was beautiful and clean. Drink tokens on the pillow. Watched the Saints/Denver game in the bar. Everyone was very nice and threw flags at the TV. Walking distance to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. Would definitely...続きを読む
Recently stayed at Royal Street Inn for a boys weekend and it was fantastic. Took up two rooms, the Royal Suite and one across the hall. Royal Suite fit four of us comfortably and the room is huge with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, glasses,...続きを読む
I can only review the Marigny Suite, which is unfortunately on the street level. If you are old enough to get the title reference, or if you have a 401k, you should not stay in the Marigny Suite. If you are 24 and need a...続きを読む
I will be traveling to NO in April for the upcoming Jazz and Heritage festival! It is my first time traveling alone with my boyfriend to an unfamiliar location- so I think it's fair we are a little nervous (I'm 18 and he will be 21.)
We are thrilled with our reservation at Royal St Inn, but we are still a little leery about walking to the FQ and back at night. I have read that most traveler's never encounter a single thing that makes them nervous in Marigny, however, I am curious to ask which streets are the best bet for safe walking.

Royal St. Inn is 2-4 blocks from the Quarter, in a neighborhood like Lakeview or Ravenswood, so you have nothing to fear. But to be honest, there's no reason to go there. It's all t-shirt shops, Wrigleyville-esque douche bars, and vommit on the sidewalks from the patrons thereof. Skip it. The hotel leaves a list of what's good in the area, go with that. Or ask the staff - they're awesome! I guarantee you'll have a better time in NOLA if you do that.
Hello! Any chance small dogs that don't bark and don't shed are allowed with their owners to stay?
