hat jemand den Film "Das leben der Anderen" gesehen ? wer auf 60er und 70er Jahre steht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Telefon mit Wählscheibe,... das ist ja noch ganz lustig, dann hörts aber auf: nicht reparierter Wasserschaden an der Decke, verrostete Dusche, Dusche ca. 1 m über dem Boden, da muss man erst mal raufklettern, überall Spinnweben und teils tote Spinnen im Raum, ein Waschbecken das mit zwei lumpigen Schrauben so besfetigt ist, dass wenn man es berührt es sich nach unten neigt, Dreck und Schimmel in der Dusche, flecken auf dem Bettuch, in der Kühlschranktür auch Schimmel und Dreck, .... leider war ich zu müde um mir nachts um 23:30 Uhr noch ein anderes Hotel zu suchen. Das Hotel hat 3 Sterne !!! wofür bitte ??? Auf meiner HRS-Reservieirung stand "Late-Check-Out" bis 15:00 Uhr Ortszeit, als ich ankam, hat man mir gleich klargemacht, ich muss bis 9:00 Auschecken und Frühstück gibts bis 9:30 Uhr... Ich hätte den Late Check Out nicht benötigt, jedoch wundert mich das schon, ein besonderes Angebot zu bekommen, das dann nicht eingehalten werden kann. Aber das spricht wohl für den gesamten Eindruck des Hotels. Das Frühstück: Personal, das NUR tschechisch spricht und keine Wünsche aufnehmen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet, naja: ein wenig Wurst und Käse, gekochtes Ei, auber nichts was jetzt zum Jubeln wäre. Ich werde nie , nie wieder hier einchecken !!!…
I specifically went to Strakonice for a festival, and this was the only hotel I could find online before my trip. The lobby was decent, if a bit bare, and the staff helpful. The room was another story. The bedding and towels were worn, but clean. The furniture and accessories were old and very worn. It looked as if the room had been cleaned, but never used so there was a thin veneer of dust. I had to call to have someone fix the toilet, and one window had to be rigged to stay open. The breakfast buffet was sad - not much other than baked goods and a bit of meat and cheese, not even fruit for the yogurt. Location was right on the river in the center of town, so that is good. In general, the hotel reminded me of some grand dame that had seen better days, a bit like Dickens' Miss Haversham. It seemed they tried, but the whole place needs a major update so bad, that it was kind of sad.…
