Hi I couldn't tell you when the the rooms were last remodeled, but I'd guess it would be in excess of 10 years. I recall thinking the couch in the room was well worn. The one thing that sticks in my mind is the walk from the lift to the room the corridor felt outdated and old.
Greetigs from Cambridge. I often walk from Fenway back to the hotel. As others have mentioned, it is a little less than two miles. Along the way you will cross over the Mass Avenue bridge and will have some great views of Boston, the Charles River and Cambridge. I like to take the T over to Fenway and then walk back. That way, you can avoid the crowded trains at the end of the game. Safe travels.
Generally, if you are a member of the Marriott Rewards program, you can login to your account, look for past stays (up to 12 months), and download a PDF file of your folio.
When checking out, you can also arrange for the hotel to immediately e-mail a PDF copy of your folio. I also believe that you can sign up on the Marriott Rewards page to automatically get an HTML-formatted e-mail of your folio.
The PDF files work great with most expense report systems.
