Stayed 3 nights while visiting the RMNP. Loved the fireplace and all the nature surrounding, including the lovely creek out front. The first night we were there we had a minor issue that the staff quickly resolved. The rooms have thin walls so we could...続きを読む
The Ponderosa Lodge was an excellent stop just outside of Estes Park. Excellent and friendly service with overly affordable and fair prices! The host was kind, helpful and informative. Everything was clean and beautiful! We will be back someday without a doubt!
We are in a lower level room with a queen bed. The room is quiet and very clean. There is a selection of teas, coffee, and cocoa to enjoy as we sit out on the back patio and watch the river flow by. There was...続きを読む
We stayed here to be close to RMNP. We got there a little before 7 pm on Sunday night. Our keys were taped to the door of the office which made it very easy for us to check in. We stayed in rooms 7 and...続きを読む
I had a room with a Murphy bed that was okay. Men were working right outside my window so it was busy until 4:30pm or so. Nice creek running through the property. Short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or the town of Estes.
I'm staying in one of the upper level rooms with two queens and a kitchenette this Summer. Are there cooking utensils, pans, etc. and what appliances? Also, are there grills or anything to use around the property?

We didn't do much in room cooking when we stayed there, but there were pots and pans, dishes, a microwave, small fridge, and toaster. There was also a grill on the deck that guests could use. I thought it was a nice little place, great location, reasonably priced. I will likely stay there again next time I go to Estes Park. Have fun!
Would like more information on the Homestead cabin. What is it like? There are not really any photos to look at.
How far upward into mountains? We have a 4 cylinder midsize vehicle. Will that make the climb to the cabin without any trouble? Is there a nearby hospital within reasonable mileage? Is the road to the lodge paved? This is presuming that the cabin is at high altitude.
Thank you for your time.

The Ponderosa Lodge is in Estes Park just about 3 or 4 miles from downtown. The road is paved, and there must be a hospital within 5me miles or so.
