See my review and cautions for the mobility impaired. Although the Inn on the Alameda offers handicap accessible rooms, I think that it will be difficult for your mother to maneuver on the grounds in a wheelchair. Most of the lobby area is wheelchair accessible, but your mother will need assistance with the breakfast buffet. There are steps into the dining area as you exit the one-way buffet area and the maneuvering space within the buffet area is limited. Santa Fe, particularly the area around the Plaza, would be, in my opinion, a difficult city for someone in a wheel chair. It is an old city, with narrow walkways, uneven pavement, many old buildings that lack elevators. Museum Hill, once you get there, is, however, modern and fully accessible, as are the major museums near the Plaza, including the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. Canyon Road, where the majority of the art galleries are, would, I think, be nearly impossible for someone in a wheelchair.
Do you have shuttle service from the Santa Fe airport?

We do not have a shuttle to the SF airport, you can uber or use Roadrunner shuttle or a cab. The hotel shuttle will drive you in a 3 mile radius of the hotel by sheduling with the front desk.
My wife and I are considering staying here Sep 11 and 12. Wondering if your breakfast includes gluten free items?
