Перед посещением попросил владельца отеля помочь с транспортом от аэропорта Хайфона до отеля. В итоге отель для меня организовал билет на автобус, который довез прямо до причала в городе Кат-Ба + снабдили инструкциями как и где этот автобус найти в Хайфоне, по цене вышло 130кДонгов + послали сотрудника на электрокаре чтобы встретить меня возле причала, но мы каким-то образом разминулись. Сам отель находится в 5 минутах от набережной, нужно чуть пройти в горку. Номер был с видом на горы, ничего особенного в этом виде особого не оказалось. Также владелец проапгрейдил мой номер до люкса с двумя 2х спальными кроватями, шутник, для меня одного =), аргументировав что в несезон отель и так стоит полупустой. На ресепшн готовы были помочь с арендой мотоцикла или организацией экскурсий. Завтрак нормальный, сосиски, тосты с джемом, яичница. В общем к сервису претензий нет, все отлично. Единственная претензия к пятнам на простынях, поэтому минус одна звездочка. При выезде так же организовали автобус до Ханоя. Был еще забавный момент, находясь в номере вижу что ко мне на балкон с нижнего этажа лезет мужик с шуруповертом в руках, он завидев постояльца в номере немного остолбенел, но после того как я его поприветствовал приободрился и полез обратно => закрывайте балконные двери перед уходом и шторки перед сном =)…
We chose this cozy hotel for our New Year Holiday after reading lots of positive feedbacks on Tripadvisor. Cat Ba View Hotel is really a great charm in such a peaceful island thanks to their excellent customer service, comfortable rooms and dedicated staff who seriously care about their brand image (FYI: This hotel belongs to a Hanoi-based company, Vega Travel) and how to improve the in-house guests' experience. Not just THE one, everyone at the hotel is super friendly and professional. We travelled with 2 kids aged 13 and 7. They both enjoyed their stay in Cat Ba Island and would love to be back again. The Family Room is spacious with modern facilities and beautiful décor which connects us together and brings in the feelings of hope, comfort and good energy. An A plus for the Family Room is that it has a great view of the ever-green mountain behind and the private balcony where you could relax and sip a fresh morning coffee while the kids happily swing on the indoor swing nearby. Very nice, modern, new and clean hotel in Cat Ba. Room was great, clean and big with good bathroom, TV and wifi. A few of them have balconies. No safe in the room. A good breakfast is included. Although staff didn't speak much English they were very friendly and helpful with rentals and transfers. As there is a building being constructed next door they gave an apology letter regarding the construction noise and they also gave a discount off my stay. But the construction noise was quiet during the night time so I actually slept well in a comfortable bed. Although they offered to allow me to switch hotels at no cost, there seems to be so much new construction everywhere in Cat Ba I think most hotels are currently in the same situation anyway. This hotel is close to the main part of town but it's on a side (dead-end) street so it has very little traffic noise. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!…

The kindest staff, specifically Van Nam at the front desk. He ensured we made it to our bus on time and gave great recommendations on food + things to do. The rooms are clean and in pristine condition. I would recommend staying here!
