Hotel sencillo pero nuevo y limpio. Amenities sólo gel. Sin secador pelo. Zapatillas y toallas bien. Lástima del desayuno, no es buffet y te traen un huevo duro, tortilla, un poco de sandia pan, mantequilla y mermelada y unas judías con salsa. El wifi funciona a ratos
Through the Turtle beach Resort we booked a 3 hour mini cruise on Dowh, which we later discovered to be owned by the Al Asala resort. It was one of the worst travel experiences in Oman. The dowh is very nice and large, but it is too slow, but first of all, the Captain and the sailor do not know half a word of English! In any case, after about 40 minutes of navigation we find ourselves in front of the Turtle beach Resort (from where we started and where the the day before we spent all time on the beach!!!) where we stop for about 30 minutes to take a swim. Bad idea ... the dowh does not have a ladder to get back on board! A ladder is improvised (using the painter's ladder) but in going up we risk getting hurt! See photos. When it's time to leave ... the engine doesn't work! We are forced to return to the port towed ... by the tender! For heaven's sake ... it may happen that not all goes as it should go. But after having thrown away our morning, instead of being reimbursed with an alternative experience ... even the property claim the payment of the entire fee! We refuse, but we are threatened with reporting to the police! After long discussions we are granted only 40% discount. A really bad experience. I do not recommend it to anyone, especially for the lack of professionalism with which they have been treated.…
This hotel is located at rather peculiar place next to a village that sits on the top of a cliff and on a through road that follows the coastline. So apart from the beach and impressive cliffs there is nothing much to do / see here. While sparkling new, I have to say it is lacks a bit of atmosphere . Management installed a machine that emanates a quite distinctive scent in the lobby and corridors. Breakfast and dinner are OK , the usual staple around here. The service staff is very friendly. I used the gym and was not disappointed. There is a small swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and clean . They have a real Italian espresso machine in the lobby hall. On cleanliness and space they outperform the competition in the area
