We stayed here overnight before making the hike to the peak of the National park. The reception area which also serves as dinner/breakfast area too is very colourful and cute. Our evening meal here was very good and cheap. The room had fantastic views to the mountains and it was just so tranquil. Last order for dinner is 7:30 so it’s an early night here as nothing else to do but this suited us just fine. The room was very clean and comfortable, laundry service also available.
We booked Buripiti (also known as Thanburi) Resort for a night after spending a day at Doi Inthanon. We decided we did not want to make the drive back to Chiang Mai city after spending a day at the national park. The resort is near the Mae Ya waterfall and once you step in, you can feel its welcoming atmosphere. The staff were wonderful - extremely smiley, friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was spacious and fairly basic. They provided shampoo and conditioner and small bar of soap. We also had dinner and breakfast at the resort. Both meals were adequate and tasted like home cooking. The only suggestion I would have for the resort is to provide instructions for the television channels (we couldn't figure it out at all or it wasn't working) and to put cushioned pads on the bottoms of the chairs in the rooms. We spent most of the evening listening to the upstairs occupants dragging their chairs or shifting furniture.…
We spent three nights in the beautiful, secluded villa at Buri Piti. Our room overlooked the farm land and part of Doi Inthanon National Park. The staff was wonderful and the Thai breakfast they made every morning was the best food we had our entire trip!
Amazing place in the middle of the mountains near Chiang Mai. The resort is embedded in a beautiful garden with lots of plants and flowers. One feels relaxed and in harmony with the environment. The employees are super friendly and courteous. Rooms are spacious and with a superb view of the mountains. We had dinner one night and we were very impressed, fresh, tasty, well presented, and prepared to our requests ( no peanuts in the papaya salad, medium spice, etc) Perfect! Highly recommended
Great place to stay if you want to get an early start to Doi Inthanon or just enjoy the beautiful grounds. The rooms are clean and modern and very spacious, with a beautiful view. The staff were very service-oriented and even packed us a very nice snack sack when we left early in the morning (5:30am). We had dinner at the venue and the food was good, and they were flexible about my dietary needs. Highly recommend this resort.
