This is a long time favorite in Sao Paulo. It has been around a long time with a consistent quality.
The food is just great the appetizers and entrees just like a Italian grandmother would cook. Love everything that is on the menu.
The service is very attentive without being annoying.
All waiters are dressed like Lampião or Maria Bonita ("cangaços" - a type of local criminals famous in early 20th. century in the wood zone), circulating in a happy lounge with typical Northeast objects. Traditional dishes like Baião de dois, Moqueca, buchada, escondidinho, "queijo coalho", grilled fish, acarajé are well prepared. You don't need to take a plane to taste...
I have been visiting this small but special restaurant since 18's. Fortunately the friendship, food and courtesy never changed.
You can choose from marvelous appetizer to a main dishes every fresh prepared and finalize with a terrific cappuccino.
