It is so rare to get your kind of perspective in Tevy’s Place…the contrast of this modest little eatery with the higher decibels of central Siem Reap. Tevy, as a Khmer woman, brings with her a set of values and goals which rooted in her humanity - uplifting community/ empowering her mainly female colleagues; enhancing education, and supporting the less fortunate. Much of her motivation comes from her own past of adversity but, at the same time, propelled by a sense of hope which you can see through the”#mikes” you so kindly mentioned. Tevy is so delighted that you liked her food. Abi e all today, you paid Tevy one of the highest compliments … she, in her own small way, made your sojurn in Siem Reap that bit more fulfilling..
